Cancer is a disease where some of the body\u2019s cells grow uncontrollably and spread to other parts of the body.<\/p>\n

The human body is made up of trillions of cells. Those cells grow and multiply through a process of cell division. As they multiply, new cells are formed where the body needs them. Over time, cells grow old or become damaged and die off, then the body creates new cells to take their place.<\/p>\n
